Protein-Protein Interaction Prediction (Yeast)

Many fundamental biological processes involve protein-protein interactions. Comprehensively identifying these interactions is important to systematically defining protein cellular roles.

We developed a new supervised classifier to combine multiple biological evidence to predict protein-protein interaction in yeast. The evidence includes not only the datasets that specifically look for protein interaction but also indirect information like mRNA expression data, protein-DNA binding data, protein localization data. This page provides our yeast protein-protein interaction predictions as a web service. One can -

Get Prediction and Confidence Score

Search a specific yeast protein pairs' interacting confidence (This is a real value. Greater the value, higher the confidence of the protein pair interaction) For a given pair of proteins the tool retrieves the pairing confidence score.

Find Protein Interacting Partners

Find the interacting partners for a certain yeast protein beyond a confidence threshold ( Default is -0.2).
