Research Interests

My overall research interests include obtaining biochemical/structural information and understanding the dynamic nature of the ligand-induced conformational changes which occur in extracellular, transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains of the receptors using NMR spectroscopy, with specific interest in the metabotropic glutamate receptors (member of G-Protein Coupled Receptors) and epidermal growth factor receptor (member of Receptor Tyrosine Kinase). I am also involved in biological application of atomic force microscopy (AFM) to study the surface topology of the cells (particularly Sf9 insect cells and COS-1 cells).
